Grab your map and explore Hearts, Beyond
From 11 March to 28 March 2021 artworks created by Deaf and hearing artists under the guidance of Dan Goronszy and Luke King are installed across Darebin as part of Autumn FUSE.
Artist workshops were held throughout February, with collaborators reflecting on the champions of their hearts over the past year in variious forms of 2020 isolation, and what they hope to take forward, beyond this time, resisting returning to the status quo as the world begins to open up again.
What we find in the podcasts, poetry, stencils and more are our version of mapping time, aspirations and observations of each unique location and community.
As you get to each location you can scan the QR code displayed at the site and it will take you to the information about that work and the artist who made it. For QR accessed audio works, there is an accompanying Auslan video version too.
